In this webinar, you will learn how a nurse-attorney has been using the nursing process to address legal issues in healthcare, leading to the creation of a novel program that is transforming how a healthcare system effectively manages challenging patients that providers traditionally terminated from their practice.

Speaker Bio:
Keith Hovey, JD, BSN, RN
Keith's mission is to inspire, teach, and support every person to become the best possible version of themselves through better health so that they can find purpose and better serve their communities. Keith does this by working as a nurse-attorney for a regional healthcare provider. On a daily basis, Keith advises clinical and administrative leaders on state and federal laws concerning a variety of healthcare related topics as well as negotiating and drafting healthcare related agreements.
Keith attended Case Western Reserve University's Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing, where he graduated with Honors and received the Cushing Robb Prize for Outstanding Achievement. He then attended Seton Hall Law School as a Faculty Scholar, graduating with Honors.
Keith has published and frequently presents on numerous topics pertaining to healthcare and the law.
