Africa has grown significantly in the last two decades, but its health systems remain weak. This then spills over into the health services delivered. I will talk about how the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE)'s Center for Nursing and Midwifery is developing nursing leadership to solve this challenge.

Speaker Bio:
Judy N. Khanyola, MAHP
Judy N. Khanyola is a Registered Nurse and is currently the Chair of the Center for Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda. Judy's work focusses on equipping the nursing and midwifery profession in Africa to do what it is they were educated and trained to do as qualified health professionals.
