Scholarship of Teaching focuses on the heart of the nurse educator role, covering topics in teaching & learning, measurement & evaluation, curriculum development & integration, and advancement as an academic nurse.

About the Authors
Lisa Broussard, DNS, RN, CNE is a nurse educator of 27 years, with the past eight years as an administrator. Received her BSN from the University of Southwestern Louisiana, and her master’s and doctoral degrees from LSU Health Sciences Center. Served as Department Head for Nursing for 7 years, and has been Associate Dean for the College of Nursing and Allied Health Professions for the past year. Her scholarship has focused on the establishment of best practices in online nursing education.
Julie Meaux, PhD, RN, CNE, FNAP is a 1981 graduate of the University of Louisiana, Lafayette where she received her BSN. She received her MNSc (1994) and PhD (2001) from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Meaux has been a Nurse Educator for over 25 years and has experience. She is currently a Professor of Nursing at the University of Central Arkansas.
