About the Author

Danielle EK Perkins, PhD, RN currently serves as manager for the Sigma/ Chamberlain University Center for Excellence in Nursing Education. She has taught undergraduate baccalaureate nursing students in clinical, classroom, and online settings in the areas of nursing research, medical-surgical nursing, and community health nursing.
