About the Author
Beth Baldwin Tigges is the 2017-2019 president of Sigma. Dr. Tigges is an associate professor and Regents’ professor at the University of New Mexico College of Nursing where she teaches quantitative in the PhD program. Over the past 25 years, she has served in numerous Sigma international and chapter positions. As Sigma Vice President, she provided strategic leadership of Sigma and led development of performance indicators for our strategic plan.
