Author Bios

Wanda Montalvo, PhD, RN, FAAN, is an innovative nurse leader and Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing with an established track record leading national initiatives to advance solutions aimed at decreasing disparity, nursing scholarship, and translating research into practice. She is co-creator of Nursing Mutual Aid, serves on the Board of NurseTRUST and the Alumni Council of Columbia University School of Nursing. She is a Sigma member of the Alpha Zeta Chapter.

Siobhan O’ Halloran, PhD, FFNMRSCI, MSc, BNS, HDip, RNT, RGN, RNID (Ireland), is former Government Chief Nurse with over 40 years experience in a wide range of clinical, academic, leadership and policy making roles.

Hsiu-Hung Wang, RN, PhD, FAAN (Taiwan), currently is Professor of Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) College of Nursing and President of Taiwan Nurses Association. She has over 30 years of experience as a nurse leader in various positions, including Policy Advisor to the National President, Deputy Minister of Health, Vice President of KMU, and Dean of College of Nursing at KMU. Her research interests include Women’s Health, Ageing and Long-Term Care, Disease Prevention and Health Promotion, and Health Policy.

Warren Hebert, DNP, RN, CAE, FAAN, has advocated for home health care and nursing since 1985. He has lobbied regulatory, legislative, intermediary, and managed care organizations since 1998. Warren teaches graduate courses in health policy and has testified before the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging. Dr. Hebert's interests include transcultural nursing, aging, and family caregiving. Dr. Hebert and his wife have an adult daughter with Down Syndrome. Warren has hosted the radio program, Family Caregiving, for 13 years.
