This course will retire after 31st August 2026.
Learning Outcomes:
After participating in this course, learners will be able to:
- Articulate the state of knowledge in implementation science in relation to nursing
- Discuss the key elements of implementation science as well as some of its misconceptions
- Identify at least two available resources for continual learning on the subject and related funding opportunities
Speaker Bio:
Claudia KY Lai, PhD, RN, FHKCERN, FHKCGN, FAAN
Claudia Lai is a professor at the Yamaguchi University and Editor-in-Chief of the journal Nursing and Health Sciences. A Sigma member since 1994, she actively participates in various task forces and was elected Sigma's first Asia Regional Coordinator (2011-2015). In 2018, she was inducted into International Nurse Researcher Hall of Fame. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Nursing and an active member of the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence.
